About York College of Pennsylvania

York College of Pennsylvania is a private college located in York, nicknamed the White Rose City, which is located in Pennsylvania state, USA, and serves as the county seat of York County. York is currently the 14th largest city in the state, its population being estimated at a number of more than 40 800, during the 2000 census.

The college was established in 1787 and first started as York County Academy. It offers its students more than 50 baccalaureate majors in professional programs, the sciences and humanities, as well as master's programs in business, education and nursing.
